Your 8mm and Super 8mm film no longer need to sit in a closet gathering dust; send them to us for reviving on DVD. Our transfer process uses a unique approach which makes a true digital copy of your film. Some transfer services make a copy of your film by screening it and filming the result before putting it onto DVD making, in effect, an analog copy of your film. In our process we take a digital high resolution still image of each frame in your film and then put every image back together to make a truly digital copy. The result is a sharper, more colour-full transfer that will look great on your DVD.

Putting your 8mm films onto DVD makes a great gift for family members who might be too young to remember past vacations, parties or family members. We can combine several 8mm films onto a single DVD, together with still images and the music of your choice for the comprehensive memory experience.

In order to make it easy to calculate we charge by the reel size, rather than by the foot. The following prices include initial inspection, cleaning of your film and transferring the film to digital format:

There is a minimum order of $40 which includes one DVD containing all of your films (up to two hours total). If the length of your films exceeds two hours, or you require the films split between several DVDs, then each additional DVD required is $10. Additional copies of each DVD is $10 per copy at time of ordering. You may also add the following extras:

• include your own digital photo slide show $10 up to 50 images, $15 up to 100 images (you supply on CD)
• we will scan your photos or 35mm slides for an additional $1 per image, includes a CD containing your images
• add your own music track, $5 per track (you supply CD or MP3 file)
• for a video tape rather than DVD, add $15 per 2hrs of footage
